Petite Sirah 200L

Description

Petite Sirah is an unmistakable favorite among many red wine drinkers. This little red grape can be quite decadent in its final appreciation. Inky purple in color, Petite Sirah has a slightly higher acidity and is also much more tannic than other reds, having a pronounced mouthfeel with a long, yet surprisingly refreshing finish. Spiced aromas intermingled with a hefty dose dark fruit and plum flavors make this wine comfortable and "JAMMY". Petite Sirah stands on its own very well, but also makes a fantastic blender with Zinfandel or other varieties that need a little help from time to time. Its exceptional color and tannin also make it a great candidate for extended bulk or bottle aging and oak treatment.
